I am grateful that there is a burgeoning, energized, diverse cultural space for writers, posters, “personalities,” and so on to work in: an alternative to the hamfisted ideologues who for years explicitly sought to censor and destroy not only works of art and literature, but also the lives of those who produced or even consumed it, under weak ideological pretense.
